Top unofficial squarespace Resources

unofficial resources

Long time, no post! Yes, sorry for the delay in posts the past month “or so”! I have lots of really good excuses that I’ll keep short but sweet.

  1. We moved to the opposite side of the campground where wi-fi is non-existent.
  2. There is a national shortage on my ADD meds. Not to mention, about a 400% increase in price.
  3. It’s like I have one of those real jobs. Volunteering 20 hours a week does not lend itself to wanting to go home and stretch my brain any further. I don’t know how some of you work 40 hours AND have a blog!
  4. Due to #1 and #2, I have been “learning” how to knit. Look here, to see my abysmal attempts.
  5. I have three teenagers…that I homeschool…need I say more.

It looks like I won’t be back to regular posting until we leave our volunteer gig at the end of the month (Feb. 27). So, until I can get back on a regular schedule, I’ll provide you with some other squarespace websites and resources that have helped me out.

Content, Structure, & Style
http://www.contentstructurestyle.com/

Content, Structure & Style is a podcast all about Squarespace. Friends of Squarespace Alan Houser, Brandon Davenport and Josh Braaten discuss tips & tricks, strategies & client stories from Squarespace conquests in this (mostly) bi-weekly podcast.

The CS&S team also have their own websites that deserve a look as well. (The next three mentions on this list)

Josh Braaten –  Big Picture Web

If you have any questions about Squarespace and SEO, Josh probably has an answer. He also has great tutorials on other aspects of Squarespace and social media integration.

Holly Ezell – Squarespace Plugins

Err, well, I figure I should at least  get an honorable mention on this list. Just in case someone decides to scrape this post wlEmoticon winkingsmile1 Top unofficial squarespace Resources photo

These are the sites that come to mind. I’m sure I’ve missed a few so please let me know in the comments if there are any sites I should add to the list. Along with the official Squarespace sites (see a list in this post), I feature all the blog feeds on one page at http://outlet.squarespaceplugins.com/ . This way I can see if anyone has any new posts without going to each site first. As an alternative, you can also subscribe to their blog feeds with Google reader.

Before I end this post, I just want to thank those who have left such nice comments and others who have emailed me with their questions and appreciation for the website. I’m truly humbled that you would take the time to lend me your feedback and trust that I would have the knowledge to offer insights to your squarespace questions.
