Official Squarespace Designer and Specialists

For those that may be getting frustrated with the nuances of Squarespace v6, I found one of the Official Squarespace Specialists using v6 not only for his personal site but also for his brand. He seems to have mastered the platform already! As many of you know, not all the features have been made available yet so it’s kind of hard trying to hack our way into getting what we want out of it.  (Can I get an Amen?!)

Squarespace Six Templates

So far, Squarespace 6 beta has seven template designs to choose from. I haven’t had too much time to thoroughly investigate each one, but my initial thoughts are:

  • Qubert and Yves have some cool and modern category filtering, transitions, and scrolling features perfect for a portfolio site.
  • Atelier is the simplest and cleanest of all the designs. A great jumping off point to make your site your own.
  • Guide, Pelle, and Takk seem the best for bloggers.
  • Frontrow is an excellent choice for photography.
