Squarespace 6 Templates linked to the official Squarespace Example Websites

Sortable Template Helper
I’ve included two separate Squarespace 6 Template Galleries. The first, includes the most current and active templates as of the Squarespace 6 July 2012 official launch. I decided to leave the the pre-launch themes that were available during beta in a second gallery immediately following the first. Each template is also linked to the official Squarespace 6 example website.
You can also check out the unique Style Menus from each theme at the Squarespace 6 Style Menu project page. (UPDATE: I’m also in the process of updating the style option page)
Just like the original Squarespace 5 Template Directory, I’m offering the option to add your site as an example to include under each thumbnail. Just fill out the form and submit your website here. (Let me know the correct template in the comment section).
Update 7/2012: I’ve included a new Squarespace 6 Template Finder Tool. This table is sortable by Squarespace Designer, Template Type (eg blog or portfolio), along with direct links to example sites and the Read Me help pages. I’ll continue to add helpful data as necessary
Squarespace v6 Template Tool
The purpose of this table is to help you find the best template for your needs. You can sort the Squarespace 6 Theme Helper by Artist , Name, or Type (eg Blog). Links will take you to the example template website or the "Read Me" page which highlights the unique features of each template. (not all themes have a read-me file so I'll update the table as they are available) I've labeled 'Peak' as "Other" because it doesn't show up as a blog or portfolio when using the filter option from the template chooser. I have more data to add, so check back often!Active Squarespace 6 Themes

Thanks so much for doing these template re-me pages and the overall list — it’s helping a lot!!
Your welcome Forest. Glad it’s helping!
Great article, and very well organized to help out the viewers (like myself). If you don’t mind my asking, how did you create that super mini-database table that sorts the templates? I can think of a million ways to use that approach for my guest house visitors (sorting tips around town etc.). Is that a simple plugin? Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks for the great content you post.

Michael- Simple plugin it isn’t I’m afraid
It requires use of a couple of jquery plugins –
* Data Tables
* Table Sorter
Alternatively, you should also be able to do this by embedding a google spreadsheet. If I remember correctly, once you’ve got it in google docs- click export and it will give you the option of some HTML to embed.
Holly, I’ve tried publishing my google spreadsheet and using the embed block in SS6, yet it could not be recognized as a valid URL.
Hey there! Do you respond to these comments?
Only to those whose first name isn’t Michael
I assume your question is rhetorical, but just in case- yes, I answer questions…when I’m done schooling, taxi-ing, three kids along with washing clothes, preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner for five. Oh and I just moved half way across the US to a house that can’t move. I have 50 boxes STILL to unpack. We’ve changed to a completely organic diet, grinding our own grains, and milking our own cow (ok, not really true on that last one). It takes an hour just to recover from the taste of Cod-liver oil each morning. I may finally get a chance to call some of my family I haven’t talked to since Thanksgiving soon. So yeah, sometimes I get behind on answering questions…which I LOVE doing but my family comes first. But I’m hoping to do better as working on this site and helping people that need and appreciate it keeps me sane.
