Official Squarespace Designer and Specialists

For those that may be getting frustrated with the nuances of Squarespace v6, I found one of the Official Squarespace Specialists using v6 not only for his personal site but also for his brand. He seems to have mastered the platform already! As many of you know, not all the features have been made available yet so it’s kind of hard trying to hack our way into getting what we want out of it.  (Can I get an Amen?!)

For those of you who don’t know who or what is a Squarespace Specialist, they are web designers and developers vetted by Squarespace. You can check out the lucky few here.  Now, let’s get on with it…

Pink Cocoa

From the Pink Cocoa About page:

Pink Cocoa is an independent art direction studio, based in Melbourne, Australia. We were founded by Jeremy Smart, and work for a variety of brands in the artsmedia and lifestyle sectors, creating integrated cross-platform communication campaigns. We place a high value on both the strategic and creative elements within a project, with the mindset that if what we’ve created is not beautiful, then the solution is simply wrong……

Using my best Squarespace v6 psychic theme abilities, I believe Jeremy is using a custom version of Minsk for Pink Cocoa and Qubert for Mr. Smart.

I find it very encouraging to see one of the “Specialists” having confidence enough in the new version of Squarespace to not only use it on a personal site, but also take the chance with his professional site. Kudos to Mr. Smart. (..or props…or whatever the young people say these days!)

Are you a Squarespace designer or developer using Squarespace v6 yet? If so, I would love to see your work and feature it on Squarespace Plugins. Shoot me a line using the contact form or support (at) squarespaceplugins.com

NB: As of this writing, I’ve never met, corresponded, or worked with anyone at Pink Cocoa. I just stumbled across their site while checking out the Squarespace Specialist page. This post is not an endorsement of their work, you will need to do your own due diligence in determining if their services meet your needs.
