Searching for a discount?
We realize that Squarespace coupon codes are floating around the web. Instead of having you browse untrusted websites looking for one, however, we’ve decided to offer the discounts ourselves. You won’t find a better deal on any third-party site.

New Personal and Unlimited Price Plans
Squarespace has recently made some major changes to their pricing plans. And thankfully, for the better I think! More options for less money. Instead of 3-5 plans of varying degrees, they have simplified it down to two plans- Personal and Unlimited. The Unlimited Plan includes everything the Business plan previously offered including-
- SSL security
- FAQ Modules, and
- System Email Customization.
This Business (now Unlimited) plan has cost anywhere from $30-$50 in the past. Now, it’s as low as $16.50/mo * with the latest coupon! Try it for Free Here!

If you were considering Squarespace and not sure whether the Advanced or Business plan is right for you, I would definitely jump on this! No worries about missing out on features! But, if you are just wanting a simpler website without the need of custom audiences and you know how to include custom code without the automatic HTML code injection points, the Personal Plan is no small potato! You still get many of the premium features- blogs, forums, and over 20 custom widgets for $6.75-$10 per month depending on whether you pay monthly, annually, or bi-annually. In my opinion the biggest limitations to consider with the Personal plan include:
- Only 1 editor
- No easy HTML code injection points
- Limited storage for users with lots of media
- No Forms or Site Registration for members
If you are a current Squarespace user, go to your account settings and you can choose one of the new plans. Just keep in mind that you will not be able to revert back to any legacy plans.
Let’s go Wayback
According to my trip “wayback”, the new price points are considerably lower than in the past! Especially the Unlimited Plan.
According to a reply from Jesse @Squarespace on the Developer Forums, prices are continually in flux so these prices could change tomorrow!
We are always looking for new ways to improve the value Squarespace offers our customers, which includes testing price and plan options regularly.

Also be sure to understand the cancellation and refund policy. I inquired about refunds on annual and bi-annual plans while writing this article and received this response on how they issue them (thanks Vishal!). If you have any doubts, I suggest paying monthly until you know for sure that. You can easily upgrade to a yearly or bi-annual plan later.
For Bi-Yearly, We have a tiered approach to refunds for bi-yearly subscriptions — within the first 30 days we can close your site and issue you a pro-rated refund for 23 months, minus the bi-yearly discount.
Within the first 90 days we can issue a refund for 18 months, minus the bi-yearly discount.
For Yearly, We have a tiered approach to refunds for yearly subscriptions — within the first 30 days we can close your site and issue you a pro-rated refund for 11 months, minus the 10% yearly discount.
Within the first 90 days we can issue a refund for 6 months, minus the 10% yearly discount.
After 90 days we cannot issue a refund.
Even with the new simplified plans, it still can be difficult deciding the perfect plan for your specific needs. As previously mentioned, I suggest paying for one of the monthly plans until you know for sure that the Squarespace platform and software is for you (obviously, I’m a bit biased!). Then choose one of the yearly subscriptions if it’s in your budget to do so. It will save you more money in the end. And don’t forget, you can try Squarespace free for 14 days with no credit card required. All you need is an email address to get started!

I’m working on what appears to be a never-ending-wannabe piece of investigative journalism on Squarespace vs WordPress vs Tumblr vs The Others. I’m hoping to shed some more light on why Squarespace is truly one of a kind. Keep a look out!
*Unlimited Plan (with GIMME10) – $16.50 per month if paid in full with Bi-Annual Plan; $20 per month if paid annually in full; or $25 paid monthly.
Personal Plan (with GIMME10) – $6.75 per month if paid in full with Bi-Annual Plan; $8 per month if paid annually in full; or $10 per month.
** GIMME10 is good for 6 months at 10% off; however, if you pay in full for the first year (or two) you will get the 10% off for the entire period.

Just want to mention a follow up to this post in case you are having issues with different Squarespace subscription plans appearing.–
“IMPORTANT UPDATE: I think Squarespace must be split-testing their subscription plans. To get the prices mentioned in this article, try the free trial and then go to account settings to make a final purchase. I’ve found they show up there more often than if you purchase right off the bat from the initial CTA.”
